I am amused. NetNewsWire will tell me if someone goes back and modifies a post I’ve already read. Rosyna of Unsanity wrote a post on May 16, 2005 telling people that repairing permissions is mostly a worthless panacea. Today, however, he seems to have gone back and added this line:

Covering yourself in vaseline and rolling around naked in the dirt and repairing permissions are just as likely to fix your Mac OS X problem.
