  • Where did “The West Wing” skew off from our universe? Interesting reading.
  • “In the sitcom Cheers, Frasier Crane said that his father was a deceased research scientist. However, the spin-off Frasier featured Frasier’s father Martin as an ex-cop living in Seattle. Frasier later explained that he had lied to his friends in Boston a
  • It had its own, unique pace that worked for it. It’s not action, although it’s *got* action. All in all, I think it’s unique in and of itself.
  • Absolutely bloody amazing. Visually stunning, and I loved the underlying fairy tale plot. Mythological. A must-see.
  • Very cool film from the 1930s. But what’s with the end? I thought it was a great ending … but that voice is so very obviously NOT Cagney’s … the jarring technical oddity makes it lose a star from otherwise what would’ve been a definite five-star mov
  • Rachel McAdams falls under the thumb of a terrorist. She’s gorgeous, she’s pretty, she’s a smart businesswoman, and she FIGHTS BACK! Aside from the eye candy, it’s really not that good a movie. But Rachel’s very much not hard on the eyes, so two stars.
  • Come on, who doesn’t love the Fraggles? Still, it’s not quite as magical as my childhood led me to believe, sadly enough.
  • Beautiful movie with its own sensibilities. Slower pace, magical moments, comedy, wisdom … liked it. Another good performance by Murray, too.
  • Her daughter’s lost on the plane! But no one believes her! And there’s a terrorist! And lots of exclamation points are needed to explain the plot! You’re catching my two-star drift here. Not abysmal, but not by any means great.
  • The seminal ’80s movie that woke up America to what a nuclear bomb in their hometown would mean. Good as a disaster flick, but it really didn’t grab you and immerse you in the characters as it could’ve. Nonetheless, a very decent effort for what it was.
  • “SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND!” Well, I’m glad I’ve finally seen it. Good. Seriously, though, nowhere near as fantastic as I would’ve thought it to be. Lots of style, but characterizations are incredibly two-dimensional and predictable.
  • Trippy, cool, weird as hell, funny characterizations, hilarious. Really worth watching. Hard to explain without ruining it, but you need to rent this, you just really do.
